Y’all. This outdoor family session in Roswell, Georgia, was the ultimate fall session. And oh my GOODNESS Artie is the most precious little boy you ever did see! He is the biggest mama’s boy and has the most infectious laugh. His family was so precious for their holiday mini session. I loved getting to capture natural moments of joy between him and his parents.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a hundred times – it is just such a mission of mine to capture images that will still feel like YOU even years down the road. I want you to look back and remember the real feelings that you had during this season of life. Even if the session doesn’t go perfectly, or your kid cries for half of it, or siblings are running around… don’t stress mama – I’ve got it. We will still get beautiful shots in the in-between moments (like Amanda above hugging Artie after he was crying for her).

Indoor sessions can be very intimate and showcase your family in your natural space. That said, outdoor sessions like this session with the Maphet family in Roswell, Georgia, are truly my bread and butter. I love that glowy light and using nature’s beauty to show off the beauty of your own fam. This particular park has been one I return to again and again – if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

And I just absolutely love this shot of Artie and his dad, laughing as he holds Artie up in the air. It’s these moments that will be cherished forever!
