Being Alabama-bred means that, growing up, the fall season in the Deep South could really be hit or miss some years. Fall is my favorite season, and when I moved to North Carolina I could hardly wait to experience what I hoped would finally be a “real” fall, one that would last more than just a few days. And, friends, the good ole state of NC did not disappoint!
I mean, seriously, just LOOK at those yellows and oranges. The woods were ablaze with fall color, and I could have just stayed out there at this mill the whole month of October. Ugh, I love it.
When the Krider fam contacted me about taking some family pictures out at Historic Yates Mill in Raleigh, I wasn’t entirely sure what I was getting myself into. Y’all, this family is so silly with each other, and we had the best time goofing around out on the mill! It was pretty cold with the breeze coming off of the water, but these guys were total champs.
Not only did I learn that this was the first time the Kriders had gotten family portraits taken, but it was ALSO Emma and Cameron’s 25th wedding anniversary! Congrats, y’all! How precious are they??
Contact me and let’s set up your own family session! Maybe it’s been a few years, or you’ve just been too busy to have one done before, these sessions are so important for turning memories into keepsakes for generations to come.
